Bishop School PTO meetings will be held the 2nd Wednesday of every month in the library @ 7pm
PTO Positions Available: Communications Assistant, Fundraising Assistant, Science Night Coordinator, and Spirit Wear Coordinator.  Click for details.

The PTO needs you!  This year we plan to fundraise $50,050 through enrichment activities and supplies through fundraising initiatives such as the Pumpkin Sale, Walk-A-Thon, and Bear Fair and to foster a sense of community through social events such as Movie Night, Bishop Night Out, and the Family Dance and Social.  As you can imagine, these events require a lot of help!  Please consider volunteering by downloading the volunteer survey here and returning it to the school via backpack mail.

Order Bishop Spirit Wear

This school year, children have a chance to showcase their Bishop Pride one day per month.  The first Friday of every month students are encouraged to wear their Bishop T-shirts or Bishop colors (yellow, gold, and blue).  We are excited to offer hoodies and long-sleeve t-shirts this year, along with a selection of short sleeve shirts. Your Bishop PTO At Work!
​The Bishop School's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of parents, teachers and community members that strive to enrich our children's educational experience and build community spirit at Bishop school. We accomplish this by funding events and activities throughout the year and by supplementing resources available to the school and our teachers. In the 2017-18 school year, the PTO raised $80,000 spent $73,000 for an average spend of $174 per student.  This money  funded school-wide and grade level enrichment programs, Bishop classrooms, teachers and administration, school improvement projects and other community initiatives such as the new Bishop School Garden.  You can learn more about the PTO's impact here.

Want to help? You can make a difference by:
  • Volunteering: The success of the PTO depends on the strength of our volunteer force. Please take a moment to review the Events and Volunteer Opportunities pages for a list of PTO events, committees and volunteer opportunities. 
  • Brainstorming: Have an idea you think would be a great community event for Bishop School? Let us know...or come share it at a monthly PTO meeting. We meet the second Wednesday of every month (except December, July and August.)
  • Contributions: Each year, the PTO funds many activities that enhance our children’s school experiences. Examples of these activities include: grade level field trips; teacher and school project grants; and classroom supplies.  This year the PTO is asking for a donation of $125 per child.  This includes the $25 classroom donation historically collected by room parents.  Funds can be donated through the annual fund link.  In addition they can be sent by check via backpack mail or paid by credit card at any PTO event.  For more information on this years annual fund collection, click here.
