Bishop Read-A-Thon 2026

The Bishop Read-A-Thon is a program that brings students together with family and friends to encourage reading and to build literacy skills. The main focus of the Read-A-Thon is for everyone to know we are committed to improving reading skills. To that end, the Read-A-Thon promises to be a fun, exciting journey for all students as they begin a personal reading adventure that challenges each reader to complete reading sessions over our 3-week event. 

Your support of the Read-A-Thon helps support enrichment programs for students, field trips, the Bishop garden, along with supporting teachers and staff. Any amount whether big or small is greatly appreciated. The grade that brings in the most money for the Read-A-Thon will earn books toward their classroom library. There will also be prizes for the class that has the most minutes read and a special prize for the reader with the highest number of minutes logged.
