Bishop Food Drive
Date:11/1/17 - 11/17/17
Bishop Families: We are Julie Kahn-Schaye and Sarah Popper, and we're your new Bishop food pantry coordinators.  November kicks off Arlington-wide food collection efforts for the Arlington Food Pantry and we're asking for your help.

As you shop for your Thanksgiving feast, if you are able, please consider putting something extra in your cart for our fellow community members for whom the food pantry will help complete their feasts.  Donations of non-perishable breakfast food can be dropped in bins in the front hallway (See below for specific suggestions).  Gift cards to local markets in denominations of $10 or $20 can be given to Ms. Gonsalves in the Bishop main office. Monetary donations are also accepted. The Arlington Food Pantry is run entirely by volunteers so the money goes directly to buying food.  Checks should be made payable to The Arlington Food Pantry and can be left in the main office or mailed directly to:The Arlington Food Pantry
Department of Health and Human Services
27 Maple Street
Arlington, MA 02476
We'll be collecting from now until the morning of Friday, November 17th. In subsequent months, you'll be hearing from us by grade level - when students will have the opportunity to fill bins outside their classrooms.

Food pantries are a vital resource for many members of our community. Located at 117 Broadway, Arlington residents are welcome to shop and/or volunteer. See this link for details. www.arlingtonfoodpantry.org
